Black River is actively developing innovative signal-processing algorithms for sonar applications. Recent sonar work includes signal processing research and processing chain enhancements in; high-fidelity physics-based acoustic propagation modeling, AI/ML detection and classification for high-speed acoustic threats, and Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) for sonar imagery in complex underwater environments.
