Are you passionate about drone technology and eager to gain real-world experience? If so, we would like you to consider joining our Test & Evaluation Team here at Black River Systems Co., Inc. this summer and work hands-on with the latest drone technology.
Black River Systems is an established research-oriented engineering firm headquartered in Utica, NY, and we are looking for a Summer Intern – to help research cutting edge drone technology, evaluate system performance, and participate in flight testing operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-growing and innovative field.
Position Responsibilities:
- Research emerging drone technologies
- Assist in evaluating and testing new drone platforms
- Participate in flight operations
- Collect and analyze performance data
- Contribute to technical documentation and reports
Position Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of college completed at an accredited school.
- Familiarity with drones and flight operations
- Solid communication, documentation, and collaborative/teamwork skills.
- FAA Part 107 certification is a plus
- US citizenship – must be eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance
